Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Might Well Be the Next Big Thing From Samsung

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 rumours have been on since the start of the year. The speculations surrounding the release of Galaxy Note 8 have increased as we approach Mobile World Congress scheduled for February. It is no secret that the Samsung Galaxy lineup has sold like hotcakes.

This has elevated people’s expectations with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4. However, latest photos leaked by an Italian website named ‘DDay.it’ suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 might as well be warming up for the Samsung event in February. Let us have a look at what we have got here.

Note 8

From the looks of it, the alleged Samsung Galaxy Note 8 closely resembles the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.  It’s just that this piece is considerably bigger than the Note 2 at 8 inches. The physical Samsung home key in the middle brings memories of Samsung Galaxy S3 that had a similar looking oblong button surrounded by two capacitive keys.

As for the rumoured specs of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, it is expected to feature Google Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The 8-inch display on the tablet is rumoured to support a resolution of 1280x800pixels. A 5 megapixels snapper might well secure its position on the rear. Plus, a 1.3 megapixels front facing camera has also been rumoured. There’s still a lot of speculation about the processing power but people expect a Quad core Exynos processor under the hood along with 2GB of RAM.

The pictures suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 would come in Pearl White colour. Like it or not, you might actually be seeing another plastic body. I suppose we can also expect to see the Wacom digitizer along with the S-Pen that we are so fond of. The word in the media is that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will come in two variants: WiFi only and 3G. Only time will tell how much reality these rumours actually spew.

Galaxy Note 8 Tablet

With the latest news on Samsung Galaxy Note 8, I am only more convinced that Samsung is slowly but surely covering all market segments. The Korea-based company has already proven itself in the smartphones department and is arguably a trend setter for others. Take the record sales of Samsung Galaxy S3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for that matter. It may not have produced a market leading tablet just yet, but I am certain that the best is yet to come from Samsung.

Galaxy S4

If you are still wondering when the Galaxy S4 would be released, we might have some news for you. As per the Facebook post by Samsung Lebanon, the Samsung Galaxy S4 would not be launched before May 2013. The latest rumours that have followed are about a 22nd May release. Let’s just keep our fingers crossed, folks.
